I did just a bit of gift knitting for the Holidays last year.

I knit my mom a pair of Monkey Socks

I made my sister in law a pair of fingerless mitts

I made socks for my husband, but never managed to get a picture. They ALMOST got thrown away by my house cleaners, but I managed to rescue them from the trash!

I knit socks for both of my boys out of Lorna's laces, using the Just Plain Socks pattern, which I really enjoy

and I designed and knit a Cowl for my youngest son's second grade teacher (more on that later!)

More Madtosh Stash

I recently bought this gorgeous 80/10/10 Worsted from the Madelinetosh online store. The colorway is called Rumber. My pictures don't quite do it justice, there is a hint of green / teal that doesn't quite come through on the photos.

 Then I scooped up a couple of discontinued colors, including Fjord on Tosh Merino Light, and Grey Gardens in Tosh Sock

Last, I got my June shipment of the Magnolia Society Sweater club. It's 80/10/10 fingering in Arctic

Lollipop Socks

In February, I became obsessed with Lollipop Yarns self striping sock yarn. I  tried several  times to get some in the bi-weekly Etsy releases with no luck. Thankfully, the shop owner was willing to take some custom orders, and I ended up with these lovelies
